Conativics is a company registered in the Republic of Korea (South Korea) and complies with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
As of June 2026, Conativics does not operate or provide any online services equipped with features that collect and process users’ geolocation information.
Currently, the geolocation-based features available to users operate in a manner where the user’s device directly receives signals via satellite or network and processes them exclusively within the device itself. This geolocation information is never transmitted to or stored by Conativics, nor is it combined with any personal information of the user held by Conativics.
Therefore, pursuant to the Act on the Protection and Use of Location Information (the “Location Information Act”), Conativics is not subject to reporting requirements as a “Location-Based Service Provider” and is not registered as such with the Ministry of Science and ICT.
Should Conativics implement geolocation-based features that directly collect, store, or utilize geolocation information in the future, we will register as a Location-Based Service Provider in accordance with the Location Information Act, and promptly notify all affected users. We will also comply with regulatory measures required for operating a geolocation-based service, including:
- Amending the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy regarding geolocation-based personal information
- Implementing technical measures to protect geolocation-based personal information
- Establishing access controls and record management for geolocation-based personal information
- Ensuring the rights of data subjects regarding their geolocation-based personal information
2026년 6월 현재, 코나티빅스(Conativics)는 사용자의 위치정보를 수집 및 처리하는 기능을 가진 온라인 서비스를 운영 및 판매하고 있지 않습니다.
현재 사용자가 사용 가능한 위치기반 기능은 사용자의 기기가 직접 위성 또는 네트워크를 통해 신호를 수집하고, 이를 기기 내부에서만 처리하여 사용하는 방식입니다. 이러한 위치정보는 코나티빅스(Conativics)측에 절대로 전달되거나 저장되지 않습니다. 코나티빅스(Conativics)가 보유하고 있는 사용자의 개인정보와 결합되지도 않습니다.
따라서 코나티빅스(Conativics)는 <위치정보의 보호 및 이용 등에 관한 법률 (위치정보법)>에 의거하여 ‘위치기반서비스사업자’ 신고 대상이 아니며, 과학기술정보통신부에 위치기반서비스사업자로 등록되어 있지 않습니다.
코나티빅스(Conativics)측에서 직접 위치정보를 수집, 저장, 활용하는 위치기반 기능을 탑재하게 될 경우, 위치정보법에 의거하여 위치기반서비스사업자 등록을 실시하고 해당되는 모든 사용자들에게 관련 내용을 즉시 공지할 것입니다. 이후 위치기반서비스사업에 요구되는 조치들을 준수하겠습니다.
